About The Position

Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to focus on data center projects in North-Central/West Texas. Requirements

8+ years of development and project management experience.
At least five years of focus directly on data center projects.
Experience as an Owner’s Representative or Project Manager representing the fiduciary interests of the real estate developer or investor.
Skilled at managing project teams successfully through all phases of the development and construction process.
Involvement with and leadership in master planning, budgeting, pre-construction, schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases, and construction/transition planning to build/project activation.
Knowledgeable with regard to project pro forma, including development budgets, operations (revenues, expenses, cash flows), and resulting financial metrics (return on cost, IRR, etc.).
Demonstrated skills in managing successful projects and consistently meeting/exceeding client expectations and deadlines.
Thorough understanding of project controls, project management, construction documentation, and sequencing.
Working knowledge of alternate materials/methods, construction costs, value-engineering techniques, and building/occupancy laws and lease requirements.
Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Discretion in handling confidential information.
Adept at developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and other development, design, and construction-related and business professionals.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface with PMA clients.
Lead the client and project team through strategic real estate planning, design, and construction of new buildings, tenant improvement buildouts, and facilities assignments.
Manage project teams successfully through all phases of the development and construction process.
Lead master planning, budgeting, pre-construction, schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases.
Oversee construction/transition planning to build/project activation.
Manage successful projects and consistently meet/exceed client expectations and deadlines.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and other development, design, and construction-related professionals.
