About The Position

WSP is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Dallas, Texas, to lead the delivery of large, complex industrial construction projects. The position oversees large-scale construction projects supporting client delivery and drives execution from planning through commissioning. The role provides strategic oversight across project phases, leads multidisciplinary teams and contractors, and manages schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance across concurrent projects. It also guides construction strategies and logistics, reviews design deliverables, leads quality assurance and quality control programs, and advises clients and leadership on project risks, delivery models, and technical solutions. The Senior Construction Manager oversees contracts and project financial performance, manages risks and regulatory compliance, serves as the primary client interface, supports business development, and mentors project teams. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required by business needs. WSP describes its workplace model as flexible and agile while meeting client needs. The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent.
10 or more years of experience in construction project management, with emphasis on large, complex projects.
Demonstrated success delivering large industrial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods, contract structures, and project controls.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in construction management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or e-Builder.
Strong understanding of construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
OSHA 10-hour certification, or ability to obtain it.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Champion site safety performance and compliance through executive engagement and strategic oversight.
Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects in industrial environments.
Provide strategic oversight across planning, design coordination, construction, and closeout.
Direct multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Drive schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance across multiple concurrent projects.
Guide construction execution strategies, logistics planning, and constructability reviews.
Review design deliverables for alignment with project requirements, cost efficiency, and compliance standards.
Lead QA/QC programs, including inspection readiness and corrective action management.
Advise clients and internal leadership on project risks, delivery models, and technical solutions.
Oversee contract administration, including negotiation of contracts and change orders.
Manage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Evaluate and approve scope, cost, and schedule changes to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to construction delivery, logistics, and project execution.
Monitor performance through KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Support business development efforts, including proposals, pursuits, and client presentations.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align project execution with broader business strategy.
Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
