At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before. You’ll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we’re transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future. The work involves reviewing engineering deliverables for constructability, sequencing, and installation feasibility, identifying potential construction risks, conflicts, and inefficiencies in design, and providing recommendations to improve field execution, safety, and productivity. You will also support alignment between engineering design and construction execution, advise on construction execution strategies, phasing, and sequencing, and evaluate EPC supplier construction plans and methodologies. Additionally, you will provide insight into site logistics, work packaging, and field productivity, identify early warning indicators of execution risk or inefficiencies, and support the review of EPC supplier construction-related submittals. You will assess submittals for constructability, completeness, clarity, and alignment with contract documents, and provide recommendations for acceptance, comments, or rejection. You will also support the company in reviewing and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), evaluating them for technical completeness, constructability implications, and potential cost and schedule impacts, and assist in formulating clear, coordinated company responses. The role requires observing construction activities to validate alignment with approved plans and submittals, identifying execution issues or deviations, and providing advisory input on work sequencing, trade coordination, and productivity trends. You will coordinate with PMO project controls to align field observations with performance metrics, identify construction-related risks and contribute to the project risk register, and support development and tracking of mitigation actions. You will provide advisory input on cost and schedule exposure related to field execution and collaborate with project controls, contract management, and document control functions, ensuring construction insights are integrated into risk register updates, progress reports, and governance reporting. Maintaining a collaborative, non-intrusive working relationship with the EPC supplier is key. You will support the evaluation of construction completion and system readiness for commissioning, identify deficiencies impacting mechanical completion and system turnover, and provide advisory support during punch list development and project closeout activities. The work location for this role is onsite at client sites, with some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships.
