Requirements

10+ years construction experience required in roadway, bridge, utility and/or site civil construction required.
Must have an excellent driving record.
Applicant must be willing and able to attain necessary certifications.

Nice To Haves

CEI experience with roadway construction preferred.
Existing construction certifications (CTQP, MOT, ACI, Troxler, etc.) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of structural installations and layouts.
Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
Observe work in progress to determine whether procedures followed, and materials used are in reasonable conformance with applicable specifications.
Interprets blueprints and specifications for Contractor and discusses deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction.
Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities and compares progress reports.
Track progress and quantity of construction work items.
Perform and document testing of certain construction work items as defined in the contract documents.
