Senior Construction Inspector

Our Construction Management team is currently seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to join our growing LA team! Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years experience working in landscape construction inspection for highway or major public works.
- Demonstrated experience with concepts and practices related to complex engineering and construction infrastructure projects is required.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to utilize any project-related software.

Responsibilities
- Capable of assisting the Resident Engineer in all aspects of required Construction Inspection services and office engineering work.
- Interpret contract specifications and special provisions.
- Must be capable of performing inspection for quality workmanship, including field measurements of construction materials and products.
- Identify changes, errors or field adjustments to the contract documents and recommend action to the Resident Engineer.
- Apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out tasks as part of a broad range of project assignments.
- Monitor contractor’s work progress and schedule and maintain daily records that track this performance.
- Support contract compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Assist in the resolution of design/coordination issues.
- Attend and facilitate various meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Assist in project close-out.
- Other duties as assigned.
