About The Position

MBP is seeking a Senior Construction Claims Analyst with significant experience in developing, reviewing, and analyzing construction claims, particularly those involving delay, productivity, and cost impacts. The role requires proficiency in Oracle P6 and experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range. The analyst will be responsible for performing detailed claim reviews, assisting in the development of contractor claims and time extension requests, and contributing to expert reports and exhibits. The ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and a strong understanding of construction plans and specifications are essential. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience which equates to this degree.
  • Experience developing and/or providing review and analysis of construction claims, specifically related to delay, productivity, and cost impacts.
  • Experience drafting expert reports and deliverables.
  • Proficient in Oracle P6 required.
  • Proficiency in reading/understanding construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • P.E. license, Certified Construction Manager, Planning and Scheduling Profession, or similar, certification preferred.
  • Experienced with one or more of the following: Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar.
  • Additional experience in one or more of the following desired: construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, constructibility review, and/or contract administration.
  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience providing training, supervision, proposal development, and business development desired.

Responsibilities
