This role will lead New Product Introduction for customer- and dealer-facing Connectivity Solutions (Cellular, Satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, and more). Responsibilities include generating functional requirements from customer, dealer, business, and regulatory input, and aligning them with market and industry trends. The role also ensures consistency between marketing, system, and hardware requirement documents, working closely with enterprise technical leaders. In this position, you will help define functional connectivity requirements, collaborate with potential suppliers, define technology roadmaps, drive engineering execution, and coordinate stakeholder communication. Your role includes gathering customer connectivity and feature requests, refining them, guiding them through development, and ensuring timely delivery. You will work closely with internal technology and digital teams on enterprise architecture, implementing new technologies, and evaluating emerging technology solutions. This role leads cross-functional teams through meetings, workshops, requirements definition, and engineering execution, with a global team structure spanning primarily US-based colleagues along with regular collaboration with teams in India.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering
10+ years of relevant experience
Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, other business units, customers, and suppliers
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex assignments
Proven history of high-velocity program execution and risk management
Electronic component, information systems, and machine systems development experience and knowledge
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques
Knowledge of leadership concepts and the ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives
Ability to communicate with VP-level stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Experience with connectivity/telematics product lines, on-board software, Gateway, and Platform
Experience within heavy equipment product development
Experience with on-machine technology (Grade Control, Remote Control, Autonomy)
Awareness of IoT standards, regulations, and regional requirements
Familiarity with wireless technology, including cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and positioning
