About The Position

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is seeking a Senior Configuration and CDRL Data Manager (CM/DM) to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Contract within the NCN Division, supporting the GASNITi1 and GASNTi2 Program Offices. In this key role, you will provide configuration management, CDRL data management, quality assurance, and software engineering support for mission-critical Air Force programs. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts. Why Work with us? Requirements

U.S. Citizen
Active Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience within a DoD environment

Nice To Haves

CM experience within the DoD environment
Experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling.
Experience producing release notes and CM reports
Understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the CCB, and change control documentation
Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments
Experience developing briefings for management
Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database (i.e. Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

Support configuration management (CM), data management (DM), and quality assurance (QA) activities in accordance with Air Force and DoD standards, including:
Manage configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes, and audits.
Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans and maintain CM files, status accounting records, and baselines.
Convene and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Nuclear Configuration Control Boards (NCCBs), Technical Review Boards (TRBs), and Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs).
Track and manage Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs), and Problem Reports (PRs).
Conduct and support audits including Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCAs/PCAs).
Maintain the CM library and software repositories.
Support data calls, review CDRLs, monitor contractor compliance, and manage data item deliveries.
Ensure configuration control for IT systems, including planning, data analysis, and documentation.
Provide QA checks, licensing support, and packaging/delivery of software.
Support baseline integrity including major/minor releases and patches.
Review and analyze contractor CM programs and data submissions for compliance and completeness.
Provide CM/DM input to acquisition documentation (SOWs, SOOs, PWSs).
Ensure compliance with applicable DoD regulations and data policies (e.g., DoDI 5230.24, DFARS 252.227-7013, ASSIST).
Will perform other duties as assigned.
