This position will provide highly specialized computational modeling expertise in the design and development of innovative products to treat cardiac diseases. The emphasis will be on modeling the electrophysiology of the heart and the interaction between cardiac function and medical devices in vivo. Bearing in mind first principles, the Senior Computational Modeling Engineer will understand business requirements, formulate a modeling approach that will address those requirements, independently carry out the modeling activities and provide concise communication of the results through technical reports and presentations. The ideal candidate must have sufficient knowledge and expertise in modeling cardiac electrophysiology. This position is in Mounds View, MN. within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) operating unit.
