The Roku Compensation team serves as trusted consultants to our People Business Partners and the business leaders, owning the implementation, administration, and evolution of compensation programs globally. We’re seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner with deep compensation expertise, strong analytical skills, and a track record of program design and delivery in fast-paced environments. You’ll help drive Roku’s overarching compensation philosophy while creating a seamless employee and manager experience. The ideal candidate is highly professional, actively collaborative, and thrives in teamwork-oriented environments. They enjoy working in dynamic organizations and bring excellent project/program management experience with a proven history of driving teams towards delivery and execution. The ability to communicate, prioritize, and influence diverse stakeholder groups is essential. They demonstrate strong competence with analytical tools and industry practices, possess a high degree of integrity and handle sensitive, confidential data while ensuring work is completed accurately. They are driven to learn, continuously improve, and deliver consistent results and scalable solutions. For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $232,000 and $296,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive global compensation experiences, including consulting, program design, and implementing of scalable solutions; high-growth software company experience preferred
  • Experience overseeing Workday configuration and the implementation/management of compensation tools preferred
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities, experience with large data sets and HRIS interfaces, strong financial and compensation modeling skills, and the ability to influence and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to independently lead global projects across multiple functions and client groups, applying subject matter expertise best practices
  • Excellent business acumen; collaborative style that engages stakeholders and leads to sound decisions
  • Skill in managing change effectively, with attention to technology and process implications
  • Experience with advanced compensation planning technology development and implementation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience leading compensation review processes and rolling out scalable programs
  • Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, time management, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with people business partners, talent acquisition, and senior business leaders to communicate and operationalize Roku’s compensation strategy
  • Stay current on global compensation technologies and market practices; introduce innovative solutions to improve internal programs
  • Consult on complex compensation matters for offers, transfers, and promotions; provide creative, strategic guidance to solve issues
  • Develop compensation communications and training to equip leaders and employees with the right level of knowledge; ensure messages support desired behaviors
  • Design, develop and maintain total compensation guidelines and job architecture structures
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of compensation tools and systems
  • Partner with people, talent acquisition, finance and senior business leaders on global HR operations, including international expansions
  • Collect and analyze market data; maintain salary survey benchmarking and methodologies globally
  • Lead the annual compensation planning and review cycles, driving strong partnerships and project management; support company-wide compensation communications and administration
  • Build and deliver compensation tools, analysis, and reports that support business decision-making
