About The Position
Seniors Helping Seniors Jersey Shore North is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Senior Companions. This role focuses on providing support, friendship, and practical assistance to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate is reliable, patient, and genuinely interested in making a positive impact on the lives of others. Responsibilities include engaging in conversation, assisting with errands like grocery shopping and transportation to appointments, and providing light help around the house. The core of this role is being present and offering meaningful companionship.
Requirements
- A reliable car and valid driver's license
- Warmth, patience, and the ability to be fully present with another person
- Availability to work 3 weekdays, 11 AM – 5 PM, part-time on a schedule that works for you

Responsibilities
- Assist with errands such as grocery shopping and rides to appointments
- Provide light help around the house as needed
- Be reliable and present during scheduled visits
