This is a critical supply chain role requiring both analytical rigor and operational execution to ensure materials readiness and inventory health across production programs. Manage materials readiness for sustaining production and product transitions, with supporting involvement in NPI clear-to-build (CTB) processes. Maintain and validate key supply, demand, and inventory data feeds, ensuring accuracy for weekly operational reviews and decision making. Monitor global inventory positions and highlight required actions related to aging inventory, slow-moving parts, shortages, and demand shaping opportunities. Analyze multi-level BOM structures and material usage to validate planning assumptions, order quantities, and supply alignment. Collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers to track supply status, resolve shortages, and manage expedites or upstream blockers. Provide regular supply outlooks against demand forecasts, identifying risks, gaps, and mitigation strategies. Drive excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory reviews and disposition strategies with both internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers. Implement and maintain inventory audit and validation processes across supply, purchase orders, and system data. Support product lifecycle transitions, including supplier EOL events, product generation changes, and material rebalancing. Serve as an operations subject matter expert on inventory cost methodology and purchase price variance (PPV) drivers impacting finance reporting. Generate and maintain materials planning dashboards, reporting, and analytics to improve cross-functional visibility and decision making. Influence commodity and planning teams on allocation decisions, supplier forecasts, and long-term supply strategies.
