This role involves supervising site clean-up, resolving installation issues, issuing contractor punch lists, and participating in start-up activities. The engineer will also organize meetings, coordinate documentation for subcontractor equipment testing and handover, and communicate equipment information to commissioning personnel. Key tasks include generating change requests, conducting site coordination meetings, performing pre-job walkthroughs to address demarcation issues, providing commissioning for projects and products, conducting equipment start-up and debugging, verifying hardwired installation, debugging controls hardware and software, recording baseline data, marking up drawing changes, and generating reports. The role also involves providing standby and customer support, and working collaboratively on major projects or independently on smaller ones.
