About The Position

Fidelity National Financial is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Senior Commercial Title Officer to join our Specialty Division in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for searching and examining commercial property titles, coordinating national title services, and providing title and underwriting support within established guidelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and able to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while consistently delivering exceptional customer service. Commercial title experience is required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience searching and examining title records.
  • Commercial title experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to accurately review, interpret, and summarize recorded documents affecting title.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and make timely, sound decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial title transactions.
  • Experience with new construction transactions.
  • Experience coordinating national title services.
  • Familiarity with modern title production technology, electronic title plants, and title production procedures.
  • Experience supporting specialty title products and processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Search and examine commercial property titles in accordance with company and local examining procedures and policies to determine the status of title.
  • Locate, compile, analyze, and accurately interpret information affecting title to real property using electronic and/or paper title plants.
  • Accurately summarize recorded documents affecting title, including deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, liens, judgments, and contracts.
  • Prepare title commitments using the appropriate title codes and established company procedures.
  • Provide underwriting interpretation and support within established guidelines.
  • Coordinate national title services while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Monitor and prioritize assigned work to maintain a high level of individual productivity and accuracy.
  • Leverage modern title production procedures and technology to support efficient and accurate title operations.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and business partners.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide positive customer experience.
