About The Position

Stockman Insurance is a locally owned and community-minded insurance agency serving Montana businesses with integrity, transparency, and a personal touch. As the agency continues to grow, they are looking for a dedicated Commercial Property & Casualty Account Manager who shares their commitment to building lasting relationships and protecting what matters most. The company has built its reputation on trust, local expertise, and genuine relationships. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Property & Casualty Account Manager to join their office and support the growing needs of their Gallatin Valley clients. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing honest work, enjoys working in a community-first environment, and knows their way around commercial insurance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management preferred
  • Active Montana Property & Casualty license (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic or similar agency management software
  • A team mindset and a positive, community-focused attitude

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse book of commercial clients, including contractors, tech firms, ag operations, retail businesses, and local nonprofits.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and policy changes with accuracy and care.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for your clients, building long-term relationships through responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Work closely with producers and underwriters to prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and bind coverages.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in our agency management system (we use Applied Epic).
