A Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager (CRE) is responsible for managing existing commercial bank relationships, which includes the sale and underwriting of credit and non-credit products offered within the commercial bank. While the CPM is not expected to source new business from prospects, they are welcome to do so under the guidance of the Regional Director. CPMs possess outstanding customer service skills as well as strong credit underwriting skills. CPMs will be expected to partner with the appropriate commercial banking colleagues (Loan Coordinators, Credit Analysts) to deliver credit relationships with the guidance of Credit Administration and the Regional Director. CPMs works closely with Treasury Relationship Management (TRM) colleagues to grow and service the non-credit needs of commercial clients. This position will develop and manage commercial relationships which meet established lending and client selectivity requirements and provide maximum profitability to the Bank with a minimum of risk.
