About The Position

The Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager will be primarily responsible for servicing and handling of commercial accounts over $500,000 in revenue. This role involves providing technical support for producers, coordinating the renewal process, account development, and retention of existing customers. The position requires collecting renewal marketing information, providing quotes, updating applications, assisting with marketing, and preparing proposals. The Account Manager will also handle insured and underwriting questions, create and process finance agreements, and issue binders, certificates, policies, and endorsements. Additionally, responsibilities include completing all billings and invoicing, maintaining client and policy information in the agency management system, and establishing relationships with customers and carriers. The role also involves preparing reports for management and providing backup support to team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or college degree
  • Hold a valid Texas General Lines Agent license
  • At least seven years of commercial lines insurance experience
  • Proficient in tasks such as policy checking, endorsement and audit processing, renewal summaries, premium comparisons and gathering renewal information.
  • A minimum of one of the following designations: CIC, CRM, ARM, AAI, CPCU, CRIS, ACSR, TIIA or CISR

  • A minimum of two designations of QCLS, ACLS, PCIA, ACSR, CISR, CRIS, MLIS, ERIS, MRIS, TRIP, CIC or CPCU

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the producer in maintaining existing commercial accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures.
  • Responsible for coordinating the renewal process, account development and retention of existing customers.
  • Collect necessary renewal marketing information such as supplemental applications, schedules and loss runs.
  • Provide quotes for new and existing business, update applications, assist with marketing process, prepare proposals/summaries and/or premium comparisons.
  • Ability to handle insured and underwriting questions.
  • Ability to create and process finance agreements.
  • Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items.
  • Complete all billings and invoicing on new business, renewals, endorsements, audits, and monthly reports.
  • Proficient in all Account Processor and Associate Account Manager essential functions & responsibilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of client and policy information in the agency management system.
  • Establish and build relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Prepare and maintain reports that may be required by management.
  • Provide backup and support for other team members.
