About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B supporting the Palo Alto/San Jose, CA market as part of the Commercial Bank. In this role, you will independently develop, retain, and grow moderately complex client relationships and lead a team. You will leverage a solid understanding of relationship management by understanding client needs and priorities, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback. You will also lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash flow, real estate loans, and other industry-specific solutions within Commercial Banking by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute more complex transactions. You will review, understand, and offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients, engaging product organizations to develop client-specific solutions. Additionally, you will independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives, guide your team to meet deliverables, and collaborate with peers and managers to resolve client issues while achieving business objectives. You will drive relationship planning activities, support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new clients, and partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management.
  • Completion of formal credit training program.
  • Established local network and comprehensive knowledge of the Palo Alto / San Jose, CA market and surrounding areas.
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects.
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
