Under the direction of a Sr. Laboratory Manager and/or Machine Shop Supervisor, the primary responsibility of this position is to setup and fabricate test fixtures and weld prototype shock absorber components using an in-house MIG and TIG welders and jigs. This is a contract role with an estimated length of 8-12 months. The primary role of this position is to support activities of the Drive Control Business Unit and Design Engineering groups by performing combinations of machining and fabrication of test fixtures and prototype shock absorber components using vertical mill, lathe, band saw, drill press, shear and brake.
