About The Position

Join a fast‑paced Agile development program as a core Platform team member supporting a diverse ecosystem of systems and applications hosted in AWS. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and evolve mission‑critical cloud infrastructure—ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across multiple environments. You’ll manage daily operational tasks while driving long‑term upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts. Requirements

  • US citizenship is required and have a DoD Secret clearance
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with servers, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management in virtual or cloud environments
  • Ability to understand, distill, and document solution requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Production experience with Kubernetes/EKS and container technologies (Docker/containerd, image building)
  • Experience with Active Directory and identity federation integrations
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant technical field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Security+ Certification
  • AWS Cloud Certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker
  • Experience with STIG compliance and security patching
  • Knowledge of AWS environments and cloud‑native services
  • Scripting and automation experience (Shell, Perl, PowerShell)
  • Strong Terraform experience (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and Ansible proficiency
  • Experience with observability and logging platforms (Splunk, CloudWatch)

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi‑account, multi‑environment landing zones, including systems management and solution design
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers and software
  • Monitor system and application performance and troubleshoot issues when they arise
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Collaborate within a SAFe delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams
  • Support IaaS, IaC, networking, and firewall operations
  • Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG compliance activities
  • Monitor and maintain system performance in alignment with contract requirements
  • Troubleshoot system issues and outages across cloud environments
  • Manage resources within AWS, including scaling, configuration, and optimization
  • Implement security controls, backups, and firewall policies
  • Create and maintain internal technical documentation, runbooks, and IT policies
  • Contribute to multi‑region disaster recovery, backup, failover, and resilience automation initiatives
