About The Position

Apogee Global RMs is seeking for a Cloud Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure to design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that support enterprise‑scale applications, modernization initiatives, and secure cloud operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on architect who can translate business needs into scalable, resilient, and cost‑efficient cloud solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or solution design
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS and/or Azure (multi-cloud preferred)
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud‑native applications
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep
• Strong understanding of networking, identity, security, and cloud governance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and container orchestration (AKS/EKS)
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert) are a plus

• Experience with hybrid cloud or on‑prem to cloud migrations
• Background in security architecture or cloud compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost governance
• Work with a high‑growth organization undergoing major cloud transformation
• Influence architecture decisions and drive enterprise‑level cloud strategy
• Collaborate with senior engineering and leadership teams

Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end cloud solutions across AWS and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
• Design cloud‑native architectures using services such as EC2, Lambda, AKS/EKS, API Gateway, App Services, VPC, IAM, and more
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver high‑impact cloud solutions
• Develop reference architectures, best practices, and technical documentation
• Conduct cloud assessments, cost optimization reviews, and performance tuning
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multi-cloud environments
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory frameworks
