About The Position

Humana Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Primary Care Growth team, focusing on empowering agents to assist seniors in choosing primary care services. This role combines cutting-edge technology with enhancing client health and happiness. As part of a Fortune 50 corporation, the engineer will collaborate directly with Senior Leadership in the Growth Team. The primary focus will be on designing and building sales applications on Salesforce Health Cloud, but the role requires adaptability to learn new programming paradigms and adopt emerging tools beyond Salesforce. The team actively utilizes advanced AI capabilities such as Salesforce Einstein Lead Scoring, Bigtincan's AuthoringAI, RoleplayAI, and Coaching AI for learning management, along with InvocaAI for conversational intelligence, continuously expanding its AI ecosystem to support agents in a rapidly growing business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering.
  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, with expertise in Salesforce Sales and Health Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with OmniStudio, Apex, Flows, and Lightning components.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.
  • Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps (wireless, wired cable or DSL connection suggested; satellite, cellular and microwave connection only if approved by leadership).
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MuleSoft integration platform.
  • Full-stack development experience outside Salesforce.
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I, OmniStudio Consultant, Sales or Health Cloud).
  • Health Cloud Accredited Professional or AI-related certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Salesforce Health Cloud features using Omniscript, Apex, and Flows.
  • Build custom applications, workflows, and automation using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Build user interfaces and integrate Salesforce with external systems using MuleSoft.
  • Contribute to full-stack development beyond Salesforce, including UI frameworks, backend services, APIs, and data integrations.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and recommend scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, data, and IT.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to Engineering best practices.
  • Ensure application stability, performance, and security through testing and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements.
  • Follow CI/CD and modern development lifecycle practices.
  • Create technical documentation, including solution designs and test plans.
  • Maintain system documentation and KT artifacts in Azure DevOps (ADO).
