About The Position

STR’s Systems Development Division develops advanced technology solutions for national security, considering the full lifecycle from concept and architecture through development and deployment. Its current work includes airborne and space RF programs and advanced testing using multi-function, multi-modal capabilities. The Senior Cloud Software Engineer works with the software team to implement CI/CD pipelines for software integrating complex embedded RF systems, signal processing, and radar, primarily for Air-to-Air applications. The role implements and operates DevSecOps processes and toolchains, supports pipelines in unclassified and classified environments, and configures and maintains development and DevOps environments at multiple classification levels. It focuses on developer productivity, application performance, security monitoring, alerting, program requirements, and Department of Defense standards. The engineer also coaches team members, improves and automates processes, documents pipeline architecture and usage, and supports tooling, environments, debugging, and testing.
