About The Position

The Security Team of Scopely Explore seeks a Cloud Security Engineer to improve the security of its infrastructure and production environments. The role works with engineering teams developing and operating mobile games, helping make internal and user-facing services safer and more robust. The engineer guides infrastructure security decisions, builds automation, manages cloud security posture across multi-cloud environments, and improves security infrastructure and tooling. The position is flexible, but regular office presence three days per week is expected. Coding skills are mandatory and will be assessed during recruitment; they must be sufficient to automate tasks. AI tools may be used if the candidate understands their output.

Requirements

Programming skills in one main language, such as Go, Java, or Python; coding skills must be sufficient to automate tasks and will be tested during recruitment.
At least 3 years of experience in a global company with cloud-centric infrastructure.
In-depth understanding of cloud technologies.
Advanced understanding of foundational cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and IAM.
Experience building tooling, helping engineers, and improving security.
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a distributed environment.
Experience driving organization-wide changes in fast-moving environments.
