The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer designs and implements complex cloud solutions while providing technical leadership to junior team members. This role architects scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, establishes best practices, and drives innovation in cloud adoption. The senior engineer leads significant projects, makes strategic technology recommendations, and serves as a subject matter expert for cloud platforms. They optimize cloud operations through automation, cost management, and performance tuning while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Equivalent certifications from other major cloud platforms may be considered. This role requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
5 years experience in cloud engineering with 2 years in a senior or lead capacity Required
General Experience with proven track record of designing and implementing complex solutions Required
General Experience with skills carrying out and overseeing projects as well as finding and fixing complex problems that involve multiple integrated applications Required
General Experience with an ability to analyze, diagnose, suggest, and implement process changes Required
General Experience and strong understanding of data security and privacy standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent Required
General Experience and familiarity with a method of managing infrastructure, platform, application, and security that emphasizes engineering principles Required
General Experience with demonstrated skill and judgment in prioritizing, influencing, and driving remediation and risk reduction strategies Required
MSFT Cert Azure Design Solut Required
