About The Position

Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire an experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer for an immediate opening. As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and support enterprise-scale networking solutions with a primary focus on GCP and hybrid cloud environments. You will build and manage GCP networking services including VPC Networks, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, Private Service Connect, Network Connectivity Center, Cloud Load Balancers, VPN, and Interconnect. You will also develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for cloud networking infrastructure and automate VPC provisioning, routing, firewall policies, load balancing, and connectivity services. Building automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and cloud-native automation frameworks is key. You will support hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud environments through VPN, Dedicated Interconnect, and third-party network integrations. Troubleshooting complex production network issues involving routing, connectivity, DNS, firewalls, performance, and application traffic is a core responsibility. You will perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring network issues. Supporting cloud network migrations, application onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and modernization initiatives are also part of the role.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with GCP networking; candidates with strong AWS networking experience will also be considered.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, routing and switching, DNS, load balancing, VPN, and network security.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting GCP networking solutions in production environments.
Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including building reusable Terraform modules.
Strong networking automation and scripting experience using Python, Terraform, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
Experience with hybrid cloud networking and data center connectivity.
