About The Position

The Senior Cloud IT Architect contextualizes business strategy and designs and builds end-to-end solutions across the Veritiv enterprise. The role contributes to product design and delivery within the Technology Solutions team and performs systems management and integration functions. It also helps develop technology strategy, maintain architecture references, and ensure solutions support business processes and deliver value.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of related job experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Basic experience with simple office or operational systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong customer service skills, including being friendly, courteous, and helpful.
• Strong planning and organization skills.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning.
• Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Help transform software delivery within Veritiv.
• Seek out enhancements and provide demonstrations and adaptive tooling.
• Lead the development and delivery of adaptive solutions.
• Analyze technology and business trends and assess their applicability to Veritiv.
• Contribute to and validate project scoping, general design, and business cases, including follow-up on value realization.
• Ensure handover to project teams.
• Maintain architecture references covering business processes, applications, and data for various solutions.
• Collect and prioritize business demands from Business Partners and Support functions.
• Develop technology strategy for Veritiv systems with other IT leaders, centered on standard and sustainable solutions.
• Challenge and redirect architectural decisions that do not support desired architectures or general and domain architecture principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the case for strategic investments that support architectural decisions.
• Coordinate with team members and outside vendors in solution design and delivery.
• Streamline IT solutions to support business processes and suggest improvements that add value.
• Evaluate automation opportunities across supply chain and procurement business processes.
