About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Detection Division. This role is crucial for building and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge biological security solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments. This is a full-time position with SecureBio, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on impactful projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Experience with serverless technologies.
  • Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
  • Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide support.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
