About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Detection Division. This role is crucial for building and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge biological security solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments. This is a full-time position with SecureBio, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on impactful projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide support.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
