Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, and security in enterprise environments
  • Must meet DoD 8140 requirements
  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the Client System.
  • Implement and manage cloud services.
  • Optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost.
  • Ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available.
  • Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning.
  • Establish cloud governance policies and guardrails.
  • Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources.
  • Configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources.
  • Implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs.
  • Implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads.
  • Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads.
  • Evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption.
  • Maintain cloud architecture documentation.
  • Provide cloud expertise to other teams.
