Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience) in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, and security in enterprise environments
- Must meet DoD 8140 requirements
- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and integrate the cloud environment that forms the foundation of the Client System.
- Implement and manage cloud services.
- Optimize the cloud architecture for performance and cost.
- Ensure the environment is secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to meet specific requirements.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud resource provisioning.
- Establish cloud governance policies and guardrails.
- Design and implement cloud networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, and connectivity to on-premises resources.
- Configure cloud security services and controls to protect cloud resources.
- Implement cloud monitoring and logging solutions to provide visibility into operations.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to control costs.
- Implement auto-scaling solutions to handle variable workloads.
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for cloud workloads.
- Evaluate new cloud services and features for potential adoption.
- Maintain cloud architecture documentation.
- Provide cloud expertise to other teams.
