  • Advise system owners and engineering leadership on cloud adoption risks, technical impacts, cost considerations, dependencies, and compliance with applicable cloud, security, and DoD standards.
  • Assess cloud service updates, configuration changes, and infrastructure modifications; recommend, implement, and validate optimal cloud solutions.
  • Review, approve, and oversee technical documentation, including cloud architecture diagrams, service configurations, deployment plans, engineering change proposals, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct, verify, and document cloud integration and performance testing to ensure environments, interfaces, and services are accurate, resilient, and production-ready.
  • Prepare and deliver cloud readiness assessments, optimization recommendations, and status reports to program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Apply cloud engineering, automation, and configuration-management principles across design, deployment, and operations.
  • Evaluate cloud, network, and system architectures to identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and security considerations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide cloud engineering and modernization guidance throughout the development lifecycle to teams building mission software capabilities or migrating legacy applications.
  • Identify and resolve system-of-systems challenges as cloud capabilities and services are integrated into complex digital and mission environments.
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies, services, automation tools, and best practices to improve cloud environment efficiency, reliability, and resilience.
