About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our IT team. This role is ideal for a seasoned cloud professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, growing and managing our cloud infrastructure while serving as a subject matter expert and mentor to team members.

Requirements

Bachelor’s (preferred) or combination of equivalent experience and technical certifications
7+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure with at least 5+ years focused on Microsoft Azure
Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (M365) and Office 365 (O365) administration and architecture
Deep experience with Microsoft Teams, including Teams Calling (Direct Routing or Operator Connect), governance, and policy management
Proficiency in Azure Active Directory / Entra ID, including conditional access, MFA, PIM, and SSO
Experience with Azure networking (VNets, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Azure Firewall)
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administration
Experience with Microsoft security and compliance tools
Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, best practices, and cost management
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Microsoft certifications such as: AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator, AZ-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MS-700 – Managing Microsoft Teams, MS-102 – Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, SC-300 – Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
Experience with Azure DevOps, Bicep, or Terraform for infrastructure as code
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and Azure Arc
Background in enterprise environments with complex multi-tenant or multi-site configurations.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and security services.
Serve as a senior administrator for the M365 tenant, including licensing, security policies, compliance configurations, and service health monitoring.
Manage and optimize O365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and related productivity tools.
Administer and optimize Microsoft Teams environments including Teams Calling, Teams Rooms, meeting policies, governance, and integrations.
Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), conditional access policies, MFA, SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Intune policies to ensure a secure and compliant cloud environment.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
Participate in cloud architecture decisions, roadmap planning, and technology assessments to align cloud services with business objectives.
Monitor Azure resource performance and costs, identify optimization opportunities, and implement best practices for cloud efficiency.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex cloud and M365 issues, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and technical mentorship to junior and mid-level IT staff.
Develop and maintain thorough documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
