About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS, Python, Snowflake, Terraform, and CI/CD experience, along with a solid understanding of cloud data engineering, data lakes, automation, security, and governance.

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience in cloud data engineering or a related field.
Hands-on AWS data engineering experience.
Strong experience with AWS Glue
Amazon S3
AWS Lambda
AWS Step Functions
AWS Lake Formation
Strong Python skills.
Experience with Snowflake.
Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
Experience with software testing, release processes, and production deployments.
Strong understanding of data lake architecture and cloud data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable AWS data pipelines and data lake solutions.
Build data processing workflows using AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, and Step Functions.
Implement data governance, security, and access controls using AWS Lake Formation.
Develop automation and integrations using Python, Boto3, and AWS APIs.
Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Develop, test, and deploy data pipelines using CI/CD practices.
Work with Snowflake and modern data platforms.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production workloads using CloudWatch and Splunk.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and agentic workflows.
