About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship.
A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty (20) years of IT experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.
A Master’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of IT experience.
A PhD in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of IT experience.
Works well independently as well as on a team.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by providing recommendations and advice regarding the design and architecture of the agency’s cloud-based hybrid computing environment.
Understanding the government’s cloud computing objectives and the implementing contractor’s plans and approach.
Providing recommendations to support the Government’s adoption of, migration to or governance/management of Cloud computing, Cloud DevOps, and other Cloud oriented activities.
