Senior Cloud Architect

Elliott Group, Ebara Corp•Jeannette, PA

About The Position

Design, implement, and maintain Ebara Elliott Energy’s global hybrid Windows and cloud infrastructure. The role combines high-level architectural design with hands-on engineering to support a secure, scalable, and cost-optimized global environment. This is primarily an individual contributor position with no direct supervisory responsibilities or hiring authority. The work involves designing, administering, securing, maintaining, supporting, mentoring, delivering, translating requirements into designs, recommending solutions, and automating systems on a global scale. Work is guided by policies and precedents, but the incumbent will create or modify procedures for novel situations and handle a high degree of new and unfamiliar technical content. The role serves as the primary liaison with external vendors and suppliers for contracts, hardware and software procurement, and technical support. Internally, it connects executive leadership with technical teams, reports progress to management, and collaborates with network administrators, software engineers, and application developers to define architecture, enforce standards, and ensure seamless system operations.

  • Deploy and orchestrate lightweight applications using containers, including AKS and Azure Container Instances.
  • Enforce security using MFA, Conditional Access, Azure Sentinel, and GDPR/HIPAA standards.
