About The Position

Trident Consulting is seeking a "Senior Cloud Application Developer" for one of our clients in "Burlington, MA". This is a direct hire, full-time position with a salary range of $130,300 – $162,900 per year. The client is a global leader in business and technology services and is looking for an experienced developer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise cloud-based web applications supporting Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable, secure cloud applications from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams.

Requirements

  • Experience building scalable, secure cloud applications from concept through production.
  • Experience with AWS (EC2 and related services).
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and integration services.
  • Experience working with MQTT and other communication protocols.
  • Experience building automation scripts for workflows and event-driven processing.
  • Experience with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience implementing cloud security, encryption, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
  • Experience debugging complex production issues.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis.
  • Experience maintaining technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of secure coding standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based web applications.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions.
  • Architect cloud solutions using AWS (EC2 and related services).
  • Develop customer-facing cloud applications.
  • Design and develop REST APIs and integration services.
  • Work with MQTT and other communication protocols.
  • Build automation scripts for workflows and event-driven processing.
  • Perform integration testing and troubleshoot API issues.
  • Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications.
  • Create reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and new product features.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Implement cloud security, encryption, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
  • Improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, and Engineering teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions.
  • Provide technical leadership and effort estimations.
  • Debug complex production issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Follow secure coding standards and industry best practices.
