About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of policies and procedures related to loan closing processes, including documentation, funding, insuring, and post-closing requirements. The Senior Closer will also prepare and review daily reports, monitor workflow and turn times, and interface with warehouse and post-closing teams to ensure the quality of funding packages. Key tasks include drawing loan documents, funding loans, or shipping loans.

Requirements

• Requires 3+ years of closing experience.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage banking industry.
• Working knowledge of industry regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DataTrac preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate subordinates.
