About The Position

As a Senior Clinical Trial Manager in ICON Strategic Solutions’ sponsor-dedicated model, you will manage clinical trial operations activities and coordinate clinical trial management delivery. You will support teams and stakeholders in delivering high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes, resolve issues, and develop team capability. The role focuses on cell therapy studies and includes oversight of budgets, study activities, enrollment, vendors, and relationships with sponsors and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a Clinical Trial Management position on a global level within a pharmaceutical organization or embedded within a sponsor setting.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in clinical trial management.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, life sciences, or another relevant field of study.
• Experience managing cell therapy studies.
• Vendor management experience, including leading calls and managing vendors and vendor budgets.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing complex or global trials.
• Experience managing all trial components from study start-up through database lock.
• Experience coaching or mentoring other CTMs, leading a team of CTMs, and participating in departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical portion of study budgets to support efficient resource allocation.
• Develop monitoring plans and tools to ensure effective study oversight.
• Train and mentor Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to optimize performance.
• Drive enrollment and lead study start-up activities in line with timelines.
• Review trip reports and implement corrective and preventative action plans when necessary.
• Build productive relationships with sponsors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage vendors, lead vendor calls, and oversee vendor budgets.
• Manage competing priorities and support the development of the team.
