About The Position

As the Sr. Clinical Research Assistant, you will be responsible for performing administrative duties to support research colleagues. In this role you will: Review and prepare for upcoming patient visits by ensuring needed materials are available Review Informed Consent Forms for completion and accuracy Assist with obtaining medical records Ensure source documents are scanned in EMR and filed in patient charts Monitor and communicate need for office supplies and equipment Take phone messages as needed Contact patients with scheduled appointments and updates as needed Communicate pertinent patient information to appropriate colleagues or departments Prepare and track reconsents Assist in prioritizing queries based on importance and time sensitivity Fax/scan documents as needed Attend required meetings Participate in educational programs and activities Maintain patient confidentiality according to legal and ethical guidelines Adhere to appropriate Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED, associate degree is preferred
  • At least a year or more experience in research
  • At least a year or more experience in oncology
  • At least one year of experience in healthcare or office setting using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Office Management Practices
  • Analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in phlebotomy, EKG and vitals is preferred
