Senior Clinical Coordinator Full Time Day

About The Position

Provides support to the Department and to the OR Facilitator for the managerial aspects of specialized areas of practice within the Operating Room. A strong clinical presence will be maintained.

Requirements

BSN Preferred
Preferred 2 years supervisory experience and demonstrates managerial skills as required by the position
5 years of OR experience
Current CNOR preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities

Responsibilities

Oversee daily OR operations and staffing- Manage the day to day operations of the operating room, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, efficient room utilization, and hig quality patient care delivery
Ensure regulatory compliance & patient safety- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., Join Commission) , and organization policies while ensuring a safe clinical environment
Manage Resources, Budget, and Supplies- Support budgeting processes, monitor supply and equipment usage, ensure vendor compliance, and participate in cost-saving and resource optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with Clinical & Administrative Stakeholders- Act as liaison between surgeons, staff, and leadership to coordinate care, improve processes, support performance improvement initiative and enhance overall operational efficiency.
