The role leads system build, troubleshooting, upgrades, and cross-functional projects while mentoring analysts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving operational workflows. The Senior Clinical Application Analyst serves as a technical advisor across multiple projects, defining solution approaches, contributing to project estimates, and designing complex system solutions. This role is the primary resource for Qpath (ED Ultrasound), Centricity ViewPoint, gMed (GI System), Bayer ABG and SentrySuite (PFT) and related clinical applications, supporting upgrades, new implementations, and system/device integrations. The analyst collaborates closely with Epic application teams, analysts, system vendors, IT engineering, and clinical operations. They build, test, and implement system components, performing in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and solution implementation. The role reviews and tests new product releases, ensuring adherence to change control, and maintains technical documentation. Additionally, the analyst researches, analyzes, and optimizes clinical and system workflows to drive process improvement, standardization, and operational efficiency. They prepare reports, provide guidance to other analysts, maintain required certifications, and deliver on-call support to ensure continuous application performance and system reliability. This position provides On-Call support for the Integrated Clinical Systems team.

Requirements

  • Master Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration or related field with 3 yrs. of experience supporting and maintaining clinical application systems -OR- Bachelor Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration or related field with 5 yrs. of experience supporting and maintaining clinical application systems -OR- Associate Degree in clinical, healthcare, integration or related field with 7 yrs. of experience supporting and maintaining clinical application systems -OR- High School Diploma/GED with 9 yrs. of experience supporting and maintaining clinical application systems
  • Support experience must include 3 of the following: end user support, report writing, system administration, system configuration, system upgrades and project management of upgrades
  • HealthCare background
  • General IT Technical Skillset
  • General knowledge of HL7 integration
  • Clinical Application knowledge/experience
  • On-Call rotation required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of server/network/device integration
  • General Knowledge of HL7 2.x standard
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
