About The Position

R/GA is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Americas Client Finance team. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic financial professional ready to drive impact. You will be the financial engine behind our client teams, moving beyond data entry to own the end-to-end commercial health of your portfolio. We are looking for a candidate who is tech-forward and AI-curious, highly analytical, and possesses the communication skills and expertise to lead financial discussions with client leads and creative teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in finance/accounting in a professional services or technology company.
  • Experience with Revenue Forecasting & Recognition, Margin Analysis, Rate Card Analysis, and Variance Analysis.
  • Expertise in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Experience with PSA/PM tools (e.g., Productive, Mavenlink, or similar) and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Comfortable leading meetings with Client Leads and Producers, acting as a strategic consultant rather than just a "numbers person."
  • Analytical, investigative mindset for audit support and accounting compliance, ensuring all revenue recognition follows GAAP guidelines.
  • Proactive, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to explain "the why" behind the numbers.
  • Curious about how AI can streamline financial workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a marketing/creative agency
  • An MBA

Responsibilities

  • Lead revenue forecasting for mid-tier client portfolios, manage revenue pipelines, and advise on revenue recognition.
  • Perform variance analysis and EAC (Estimate at Completion) reviews, providing clear commentary on burn management and over-burn risks.
  • Partner with account teams to draft SOWs, ensuring "math/rate checks" are highly accurate, invoicing schedules are optimized, and rate cards are correctly applied.
  • Conduct regular margin analysis reviews to ensure projects remain profitable and proactively identify risks when significant shifts occur.
  • Own the full billing cycle and associated commentaries (AR, WIP, Earned but Unbilled).
  • Own Out-of-Pocket (OOP) management, reconciling production budgets and communicating available balances to clients. Manage weekly payables for cash flow estimations in partnership with Business Affairs.
  • Ensure all audit documentation and compliance standards are met through a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Leverage AI and advanced spreadsheet proficiency to automate reporting, troubleshoot errors, and evolve our reporting capabilities.
  • Prepare and present financial data to stakeholders, translating complex spreadsheets into actionable insights for non-finance leads.

Benefits

  • The hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000.
