About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Senior Client Executive for their Business Insurance team. This role involves overseeing assigned accounts to ensure client retention and satisfaction, account rounding, troubleshooting, cross-selling, and collaborating with producers on new business. The Senior Client Executive is expected to demonstrate high professionalism, technical expertise, and leadership. This position proactively drives retention and new business, optimizes the firm's economic potential, and provides technical advice, market insights, guidance, and leadership to the team. Additionally, the role includes facilitating educational opportunities and supporting team members' career development.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years’ insurance industry experience.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a brokerage environment.
  • Active P&C License.
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role.
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and speak to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and web browser software.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Willingness to pursue continuing education and professional development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance or other relevant programs.
  • Experience with Epic.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of assigned accounts, including maintaining, monitoring, and managing them to achieve client retention goals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Performing account rounding, troubleshooting, and cross-selling to other departments.
  • Collaborating with Producers on new business development.
  • Proactively driving retention and new business in alignment with the company’s sales and service model.
  • Establishing structure and accountability within respective departments/groups to optimize the firm’s economic potential.
  • Fostering the principles of leadership and teamwork.
  • Supporting the team by providing technical advice, market insights, guidance, and leadership during internal and external discussions and negotiations.
  • Facilitating educational opportunities for team members.
  • Providing direction for team members' career development and success.
