Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of claims experience within a retail brokerage
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Knowledge of insurance coverages, products, and agency protocols
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of typical litigation protocols
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters, including management of potential and active claims; responsible for overseeing and guiding support staff in the timely and accurate reporting of claims
- Respond to claims-related requests from clients and insurance carriers
- Conduct legal research when necessary, analyze and prepare presentations related to regulatory, legislative and litigation matters that will affect clients or carriers
- Review all client claims and lawsuits to propose solutions and action plans
- Provide status updates on cases to management, producers, and senior account analysts
