About The Position

As a Senior Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects, leading teams, and driving engineering solutions. You will lead and manage a variety of projects, including transportation clients such as DOT's, Federal Highways, Forest Service, Department of Defense, Counties, Cities, Railroads, and Private. Project types include Roads & Highways, Bridges & Culverts, Intersections and Roundabouts, Traffic Impact Studies, and Railroads. You may also have the opportunity to manage other civil projects including Water Distribution and Sewer Collection Systems, Stormwater Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems, Subdivision Land Development, Commercial Site Design, and Federal Government Facilities.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 10+ years of experience in civil transportation engineering
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams
  • Strong client relationship management and business development experience
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work on schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience living or working in Montana is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the design and execution of complex civil engineering projects
  • Managing project scope, schedule, and budgets to ensure successful delivery
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff
  • Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
  • Coordinating with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Conducting construction oversight and administration as needed
  • Leading business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement
