Senior Civil / Structural Engineer
About The Position
Wood has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer with a background in hydropower and dams to join the Halifax team. This position will be a leadership role based in Atlantic Canada and will require the successful candidate to visit Client sites from time-to-time and interact with clients. The role involves being part of the Engineering team delivering projects in the Power and Industrial sectors, focusing on dams, hydraulic structures and other hydropower assets. This position will offer a supportive team environment which will enable you to grow your skills and abilities, while completing challenging, yet rewarding work.
Requirements
- Background in hydropower and dams.
- Successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects in the Power and Industrial sectors, focusing on dams, hydraulic structures and other hydropower assets.
- Visit Client sites from time-to-time and interact with clients.
- Provide leadership within the Engineering team.
