Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET/EAC accredited)
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience in land development within a consulting environment
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple deadlines
  • Leadership mindset with ambition to grow into a senior decision-making role

Responsibilities

  • Applying standard civil engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria
  • Performing and managing computations, reports, permit applications, and CAD drawings
  • Designing site plans, grading, utilities, erosion and sediment control systems
  • Stormwater management design and analysis (including SWPPP compliance)
  • Roadway, parking, and infrastructure design
  • Minor water and wastewater system design
  • Preparing proposals for professional services
  • Managing projects from concept through completion
  • Client engagement and relationship management
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff
  • Contributing to technical strategy and presenting at meetings and public forums
