Senior Civil Engineer
About The Position
ATI has a current need for a full-time Senior Civil Engineer for complex, multimillion dollar construction projects. Work will be at Columbus Air Force Base, near Columbus, Mississippi. ATI, Inc. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer on complex multimillion dollar construction projects
- Hold a current Professional Engineering license
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Position requires frequent and recurring construction inspections, which include walking, climbing, stooping, and bending at various elevations and uneven terrain
- Candidates must be US Citizens
- Must be able to obtain a government clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with USACE's 3-Phase QC/Inspection process
- Experience with EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual
- Experience with the Resident Management System (RMS)
Responsibilities
- Review and comment on Contractor submittals
- Review and comment on Contractor questions
- Review and comment on Contractor RFIs/RFCs
- Make written recommendations to the COR
- Compute time extensions
- Assist in preparing change order documents
- Make construction-minded determinations of practicability and meeting contract requirements
- Request for equitable adjustment and claims
- Make technical interpretations of drawings/specifications
- Review Contractor punch lists
