About The Position

Wiley|Wilson, a 100% employee-owned firm with over 190 employee-owners across five offices, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design of complex land development and infrastructure projects for federal government clients. Responsibilities include site development, stormwater management, environmental permitting, utility infrastructure, and pump station design. The role involves team leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, primary client contact, ensuring client satisfaction, and mentoring junior engineers. This position is ideal for a creative and logical thinker adept at solving complex design challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia or ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months of the start date.
  • Eligible to work in the United States and obtain a security clearance.
  • 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including land development and site design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local government regulations related to civil design.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MicroStation and InRoads software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of regional stormwater regulations.
