About The Position

The position works for the Land Resources Manager. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The position oversees the County's stormwater management and erosion control program, including but not limited to plan review, permit issuance, construction site inspection, MS4 reporting/compliance and water quality modeling.

Requirements

Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a closely related field.
Four (4) years of responsible, professional civil engineering work experience including the planning, design, and construction of highways and other transportation or soil and water conservation facilities, or a closely related field.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Oversees the County's stormwater management and erosion control program.
Conducts plan review.
Issues permits.
Performs construction site inspection.
Manages MS4 reporting/compliance.
Conducts water quality modeling.
