About The Position

The position works for the Land Resources Manager. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The position oversees the County's stormwater management and erosion control program, including but not limited to plan review, permit issuance, construction site inspection, MS4 reporting/compliance and water quality modeling.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a closely related field.
  • Four (4) years of responsible, professional civil engineering work experience including the planning, design, and construction of highways and other transportation or soil and water conservation facilities, or a closely related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the County's stormwater management and erosion control program.
  • Conducts plan review.
  • Issues permits.
  • Performs construction site inspection.
  • Manages MS4 reporting/compliance.
  • Conducts water quality modeling.
