About The Position

CORE MISSION: Professional Engineers are responsible for assessment, planning, evaluation, design, permitting and construction support for a wide range of infrastructure projects, including transportation, water and wastewater, flood control, energy and site development. Professional Engineers use their training, education, experience, and professional judgement to prepare designs, provide direction, make decisions, and be in responsible charge of the resources and processes to meet the standard of care. EXPECTATIONS FOR THE "SENIOR" TITLE: Are proactive professionals with demonstrated, mastered and proficient abilities across project planning, technical aptitude and teamwork. Are responsible for complex assignments that require experience in forecasting resources, anticipating issues and completing quality control. Has at least 12 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; an advanced degree is beneficial.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Proficiency with industry-specific software like AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD tools.
Competency in research, calculations, design, detailing, cost estimating and technical writing.
Ability to prepare comprehensive construction documents.
Ability to interpret record drawings, construction documents, specifications and as-built documents.
Capability to perform technical reviews, follow quality assurance plans and execute quality control processes.
Ability to problem-solve, communicate and collaborate with peers and project stakeholders.
